Service Description

Just £15 for up to 2 hours of training (including the 6pm all‑ages class) for non‑members aged 13 years+, including tourists looking for something different to do with the family this summer. Please note: numbers are limited to keep the class safe, focused and enjoyable for everyone, so early booking is recommended. ABOUT YOUR CLASS: Now summer is here, join us for the Swanage Martial Arts Outdoor Summer Classes and kick‑start your skills with outdoor sessions by our stunning Swanage Bay Beach. You’ll learn and practise kicking, boxing, weapons defence, weapons‑based training and self‑defence skills while having fun and keeping fit. We meet every Tuesday at 7pm on the grass by the Tourist Information Centre throughout the summer (in good weather). There is cheap parking and toilets nearby. We train here or, if everyone wants to, we may occasionally train on the beach itself, as we are licensed by Swanage Sports Council to do so. This fun, safe, immersive class provides an opportunity to learn and improve kicking, boxing, martial arts and self‑defence techniques in an energising outdoor environment. Don’t miss out on this unique experience. Perfect for anyone who wants to learn or practise martial arts and self‑defence while getting fit and having fun this summer. f you’re nervous about trying, you’re welcome to come and watch first — and if you change your mind, you can join in at any time. If your booked session has to be postponed due to bad weather or other circumstances beyond our control, we will contact you using the number provided on your booking form to arrange an alternative class. Please bring appropriate items for outdoor training: water, sun hat, sun cream, sensible training shoes, and a towel or yoga mat for ground work. All students train at their own risk, and we accept no responsibility for injuries, accidents or loss of personal items. This class is for teens and adults, so parents — why not join in as well? Just fill out a separate booking form for each person who wants to participate and you’re good to go.
